Part of a témpano

23 April, 2009 (09:54) | Argentina, Calafate, Patagonia, South America

While navigating on the Lago Argentino, the boat takes you at close range of the glaciers Upsala, Onelli and Spegazzini. We came across this témpano de hielo [ice floe] on our way to one of the glaciers. For me, who never saw such a thing before, it was one of those thrilling and beautiful experience.
