About Abasto shopping mall
As their website described “The history of this building dates back to the final years of the 19th century, when Vasena, the renowned Argentine architect, began the construction of the first market in Buenos Aires designed to be the central fruits and veggies market. Some years later, in 1934, the market was remodeled and re-inaugurated by Mr Delpini, the famous engineer. Its outstanding feature was its news facade, which contributed to this building being considered one of the major architectural landmarks of the city. After functioning for 50 years, the market ceased operations on October 1984. After that it remained closed for a long time. Various projects were talked about, until finally in 1996, a project of remodeling the facilities and the construction of a shopping mall was adopted, which was inaugurated in 1999.
Inside its wall, you’ll find 250 brands, food court for 1500 people, 12 movie theaters, a big amusement park, and an interactive educational museum. More detailed info at this Abasto’s link.

These pictures really capture the scale of this incredible shopping Mall. I was amazed to find an entire children’s amusement park, arcade and children’s museum on the upper level. The swinging galleon ride, in particular, blew me away.
I discovered that Teatro Ciego (Blind Theatre) is in the same neighborhood as Abasto Mall, just blocks away.

Amusement Park and Museum Seem to have given it Identity of a Complex… with a Much wider Visitor Range.
Such a Thing add Life to any such Grand mall. Anyway, Nice High Resolution Photographs.

Amazing pictures of this huge shopping mall. These buildings from no angle look like have been built in the final years of the 19th century.
